Really tasty pho broth! Noodles a bit on the overcooked / soft side but it was still good. Their welldone beef is actually brisket and their beef balls were superb.
Overall, I recommend this Pho place. -

Good food at reasonable prices. Would have rated it higher if not for the waitress/hostess attitude which was mediocre at best.

Small authentic Vietnamese place.
Lots of choices. Good food.
Fast.

I finally decided to make the trek out to Thuan Thanh and I was so impressed!! The best pho place in London thus far. The broth was so full with flavour I barely felt the need to add hoisin sauce and the portions are quite large. My only complaint, and this is for all pho places in London really, is the lack of meat. My large bowl of pho had a few slices of beef and 4 beef balls. My pork vermicelli had a lot of meat though, I didn't even have enough vermicelli for it! I wasn't a fan of the fresh spring rolls and it was weird to have the peanut sauce served cold. I couldn't justify paying $4 for two rolls of mostly vermicelli.
Overall I would recommend you stick with the pho. It's comparable to Toronto restaurants and they seem to use minimal MSG (unlike pho dau bo!!) The bill for the 3 dishes was $25, another reason why I love Vietnamese food! -

MSG for sure!
Pho - lack of meat
Fried rice - Reminds me of home, but too much MSG for me.
Service - Dining in is okay, delivery just sucked. Last time, it took me half an hour to make them understand what I wanna order and where I live over the phone. I live on Campus, it's just a kilometer away. After half an hour, they called me again, asking where exactly I live, like street number or sth, IDK!! It's just a residence within Fanshawe. That made me think they're stupid cause if you don't know where Falcon Residence is (a kilometer away), then you are not supposed to do delivery. In the end, I have to walk a kilometer myself to pick up my food cause that's easier than trying to tell them where i want the food to be delivered. Speechless experience...
